"The Reserve Bank governor says the chance of an interest rate cut is now "more evenly balanced" with the prospect of an increase as the RBA assesses the fallout from Sydney and Melbourne house price falls." ABC news.


RBA Governor Lowe caught Aussie longs off guard early today, forcing these players to reconsider their exposure after the central banker shifted gears, adopting a more neutral outlook. Lowe said rates could go in either direction, acknowledging risks on the domestic and international fronts.
